German-speaking Playgroup  Ft. Lauderdale

The German Learning Center of Weston is very involved with the “German Speaking Group of Ft. Lauderdale”. This group of moms and children gathers weekly at various public parks in Broward County.
By now, more than 30 German speaking families and children all ages are organized in this group. Carnivals, lantern festivals, and Christmas plays have become yearly traditions and are always a great success. In fact, we are able to preserve ourselves a piece of our ”Heimat”, and our children become acquainted with the German language, customs, and traditions.
